Extending the Loan Period
Your library account contains the overview “Checked Out Items”. If an extension is available, you can renew the loan periods for your items here.
Please note that the new loan period begins on the date of renewal – not at the end of the original loan period.
Extensions are not possible on
- reserved media
- media whose loan period has already expired
- locker keys
- interlibrary loan media where the supplying library does not allow renewals
or
- if your library account is blocked
- if your membership has expired
No further extensions are possible after the fifth extension. However, you can return the items and borrow them again.
