Databases

The Database Information System (DBIS) is a portal for article, image, fact and full-text databases as well as for bibliographies.

Online databases can be accessed with any web browser. Special software requirements apply to CD-ROM databases. Please observe the information in the Database Information System (DBIS). You must be on the TU campus in order to access databases that are subject to licensing.

TU members have the option of remote access. You will need to have the VPN software from the University IT Service and Computing Centre for this.
Please select the “campus” group to create the VPN connection (and not “external”).

You will find a brief introduction to the search function and access instructions in the Notes on using the Database Information System.
