The new issue of the open access journal Zeitschrift für Interkulturellen Fremdsprachenunterricht (ZIF) with the main topic “Unterricht in der Herkunftssprache” (Teaching in the Language of Origin) is now online.

On 24 November 2022 from 2pm to 3pm, the Open Access Talk “Your article or book in gold or green OA: Tips for OA publishing (not only) in the humanities” will take place online.

The third issue of the OA journal KorDaF – Korpora Deutsch als Fremdsprache has been published. The journal is hosted by ULB Darmstadt.

On 28 April 2022 from 2pm to 3pm, the Open Access Talk “Finale für Titelträger*innen: Kumulative Dissertationen Open Access veröffentlichen” will take place online.

In December 2021, ULB Darmstadt became a member of the non-profit organisation USENIX. It organises conferences, publishes research results and supports communities in the field of computer science and information technology.

“Open Access in Chemical Research – Opportunities and Challenges in Practice” is the topic of an online workshop that will take place on 16 March 2022 from 9am to 1pm.

The next Open Access Talk “Open Access Publizieren – so geht's” provides a practical introduction to OA publishing options. It will take place online on 24 February 24 from 2pm – 3pm.

The online workshop “Wir wollen mehr Open Access wagen! Wege, Modelle und Services für die Politikwissenschaft” will take place on 9 February 2022 from 10am – 3pm.

Since December 2021, the ULB Darmstadt is a new supporting member of DOAB/OAPEN, OpenCitations and Open Book Publishers. Through these and other memberships, the ULB supports the development of Open Access.
