“Preprints: Communicating research results quickly and openly” is the topic of the next Open Access Talk, which will take place on 28 October 2021 from 2pm-3pm.

The DEAL contract with the Wiley publishing house has been extended by one year. Until 31 December 2022 you can publish your research results Open Access in Wiley journals free of charge or at reduced fees and have online access to the entire journal portfolio.

The next Open Access Talk will take place on 19 August 2021 from 2pm – 3pm. The talk “Open Access Requirements in EU Projects” is aimed at project coordinators, researchers and students.

Publishing Open Access: How to evaluate a journal's quality is the current topic of the Open Access Talk. It will take place on 29 July 2021 from 2pm – 3pm.

Join the author webinar “Open Access for Germany – All you need to know about the German DEAL agreement!” on 20 April and learn how you can benefit from Open Access publications under the German DEAL agreement and how the “author journey” from submission to publication of an article works.

There is no medium in engineering for discussing issues of research data. This gap will be closed in 2021 with the “Journal of Research Data in Engineering Science”.
