Workshop Open Access in Political Science

The online workshop “Wir wollen mehr Open Access wagen! Wege, Modelle und Services für die Politikwissenschaft” will take place on 9 February 2022 from 10am – 3pm.

In addition to comprehensive information, it also offers an opportunity for scholars and academic publishers in political science to exchange ideas.

There are many possibilities for publishing an article, book or dissertation in Open Access. Jun.-Prof. Arndt Leininger, Ph.D. (Political Science Research Methods, TU Chemnitz) and Dr. Philipp Schulz (Institute for Intercultural and International Studies, University of Bremen) will report on their experiences. Other topics will be opportunities and challenges of the publication process, feasibility and support services.

The workshop will be in German. You do not need any previous knowledge of Open Access.

The workshop is organised jointly by the Open Access Bureau Berlin (OABB) and the Fachinformationsdienst Politikwissenschaft – Pollux within the framework of the BMBF-funded project open-access.network.
