Workshop Open Access in Chemical Research on 16 March

2022/03/07

“Open Access in Chemical Research – Opportunities and Challenges in Practice” is the topic of an online workshop that will take place on 16 March 2022 from 9am to 1pm.

Two thematic blocks will show ways of publishing as well as opportunities and challenges of the publication process and offer scientists and academic publishers in chemistry the opportunity for exchange and networking.

Dr. Robert Wegener (Forschungszentrum Jülich) and Dr. Juliane Simmchen (Technische Universität Dresden) will provide insights into their experiences with Open Access.

Furthermore, support services from the Beilstein Institute, the GDCh (Link https://www.gdch.de/) and the NFDI4Chem-Konsortium will be presented.

The detailed programme and information on registration can be found at: https://open-access.network/fortbilden/thematische-workshops/online-workshop-open-access-in-der-chemischen-forschung.

The event will be in German. You do not need any previous knowledge of Open Access.

This workshop is organised jointly by the Open Access Bureau Berlin (OABB) and the German National Library of Science and Technology Hanover (TIB) as part of the BMBF-funded open-access.network project.
