The new issue of the open access journal Zeitschrift für Interkulturellen Fremdsprachenunterricht – MehrSprachen Lehren und Lernen (ZIF) with the main topic “Unterricht in der Herkunftssprache” (Teaching in the Language of Origin) is now online. The journal successfully migrated from OJS to the publication platform Janeway this year.

ZIF has been published since 1996 and is a Diamond OA journal, i.e. neither readers nor authors incur any costs. No publication fees (APC) are charged. Further information can be found in our Open Access Statement.

Since 2004, the journal is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), an index of peer-reviewed OA journals. In addition, ZIF has an entry in ERIH PLUS, an index to scientific journals in the social sciences and humanities in Europe.

The ULB service TUjournals supports the publication of such OA journals and series if at least one of the editors is a member of TU Darmstadt. Information on TUjournals and an overview of the titles published so far can be found on the website Journal Hosting.
