Digital long-term archiving continues to be an important topic for libraries. Various software systems have been developed over the course of time. These include open source products such as Archivematica.

Experience almost 1,200 years of Hessian history! The “Haus der Geschichte” opens its doors to young and old. It offers an entertaining program for all generations with numerous guided tours through the Hessian State Archive, the Municipal Archive Archive, the Hessian Economic Archives and the TU Archive.

The step into self-employment raises many questions. With more than 30 institutions from the start-up scene, the “Start-up Day” trade fair offers support in this area.

Each term the ULB Stadtmitte changes its opening hours according to the exam periods. From 1 September to 31 December the library opens daily from 8am to 1am.
