Ten years ago, TU Darmstadt adopted the first version of its guidelines on handling digital research data. A lot has changed since then – not only at our university. TUdata thanks all its partners for ten years of successful collaboration!

On 2025-12-16 from 7:30am until about 11:30am the features of TUfind, the online catalogue, loan and interlibrary loan, the internet access to the users' PCs and other services will be not available. We ask for your understanding.

Thanks to a donation from the University Sports Centre TU Darmstadt, a treadmill is now available in room 109 of the ULB Lichtwiese. Equipped with a large work table, it offers a good alternative to studying while seated.

Robert Schneider was born on St. Nicholas Day in 1875 in Darmstadt, the city of the Heiner. He expressed his attachment to his homeland in his poems and stories.

Exhibition from 20 November 2025 to 16 January 2026 | House of History Darmstadt

On 19 November 2025, the exhibition will open at 6 p.m. with the book presentation “Philosophie als Kritik und Lebenspraxis”. The exhibition highlights important aspects of Gernot Böhme's philosophical thinking and research and presents previously unknown evidence from his life. These are part of Gernot Böhme's scientific and private estate, which is kept in the Historical Archive of the TU Darmstadt.

At this year's Sustainability Day at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt on 2025-11-24 the ULB is represented at the Market of Opportunities .

A new website provides the first overview of digitally reconstructed synagogues. The project was made possible in collaboration with IDOVIR, in which the ULB is involved.
