Room reservation over Christmas break

Between 21 December 2016 and 8 January 2017 the electronic form for group study room reservations is unavailable due to the Christmas break in the reservation office. All group study rooms can be used without reservations.

Book orders to and from the BGG during the holidays

From December 23rd 2016 to January 8th 2017 books cannot be ordered to and from the BGG. Orders processed at that time will not be provided and must be repeated, if necessary, from January 9th 2017 onwards. From January 9th 2017 all services will be available as usual again.

Loeb Classic Library now available

The ULB has licenced the digital Version of Loeb Classical Library . The database offers more than 520 classical works in Greek and Latin: epics and lyrics, tragedies and comedies, historical and travel literature, medical and mathematical classics.

ASTM Compass now available

The ULB has licenced the database „ASTM Compass“ published by the American Society for Testing and Materials, the leading provider for standards in technical and natural sciences.

70 years federal state anniversary Hesse

At 1st December the federal state of Hesse celebrates the 70th anniversary of its state constitution – an occasion to look back on a long and chequered period of history.

On the occasion of the 660 th anniversary of the Golden Bull, the most important constitutional document of the Holy Roman Empire, and the 700th birthday of Emperor Charles IV, the ULB dedicates an exhibition to the copy assigned to the Archbishop of Cologne held by the library.
