Day of open Doors at „Haus der Geschichte“ at 08 September

2024/08/30

Experience almost 1,200 years of Hessian history! The “Haus der Geschichte” opens its doors to young and old. It offers an entertaining program for all generations with numerous guided tours through the Hessian State Archive, the Municipal Archive Archive, the Hessian Economic Archives and the TU Archive.

There is also an extensive counselling service for family history, manuscript reading and the use of Arcinsys. And it will also be exciting for the children: they can help Constable Otto in his search for his stolen bell, make marbled paper or design their own document or coat of arms in the writing workshop. Coffee, drinks and cake are available in the Karolinensaal.
