TUprints is moving to DSpace
2025/10/29
The full-text repository of TU Darmstadt (TUprints) will be migrated to new software on 2025-11-03. The previously used system will be replaced by DSpace software.
During the one-week migration phase from 2025-10-27 to 2025-11-02, it will not be possible to log in, deposit or publish new documents. Searches in the TUprints repository can still be carried out.
From 2025-11-03, the publication server will be back online at the usual address: https://tuprints.ulb.tu-darmstadt.de/
Please note:
- Personalised logins from the previous system will no longer work. You can log in to the new platform with your TU ID. If you do not have a TU ID (anymore), please apply for a new account here. Accounts will be set up after 2025-11-03.
- Documents from your personal workspace that were not published before the switchover should be re-uploaded to TUprints after 2025-11-03. In this case, new persistent identifiers (DOI, URN, handle) will be assigned.
- TUbiblio: The university bibliography will remain on eprints for the time being, but will also be migrated to DSpace. Until this happens, there will be no changes to generating publication lists from TUbiblio. Furthermore, every publication on TUprints will also be listed and catalogued in the university bibliography.
The full-text repository of TU Darmstadt primarily publishes dissertations from our university (over 400 per year) – based on the guidelines and the Open Access Policy. Other types of publications such as reports, preprints, books, etc. are possible, too. Conference proceedings and series of publications are also increasingly finding a place of publication here free of charge. Another focus is on the secondary publication of TU Darmstadt publications, i.e. the collection of research articles that were originally published elsewhere. The full-text repository currently contains over 14,000 publications.
