Learning Formats for Reference Management

A reference management program will help you to systematically organise your printed and electronic media. Use it to collect bibliographic data and documents, manage them efficiently, and output them as a bibliography or as text/footnote citations.

  • How do I search for literature in the programs?
  • How do I import title data and documents?
  • How do I manage title data?
  • How do I insert foot and text notes in my text?
  • How do I output literature lists?
  • How do I manage literature in a team?

You will learn the answers to these questions in our workshops, where you can apply your new knowledge directly to practical examples.

Citavi is licensed to the TU. It also maintains Zotero , which is free, and fee-based EndNote to a limited extent.

The PowerPoint presentations of the courses are available on OpenLearnWare. Self-study courses with the same content are available for many workshops in Moodle.
