Tribute to the Golden Bull

After the ULB has been registered in the UNESCO “Memory of the World Programme” the library receives the official documents at a ceremony on September 8 at 7 p.m. in the lecture hall of the ULB Stadtmitte by Prof. Joachim-Felix Leonhard, the Chairman of the German nomination committee.

ULB Stadtmitte – failure of district heating

Due to urgent repairs in heating station and district heating network, the district heating system is switched off at the following times: August 31st from about 7:00 a.m. to September 2th about 4:00 p.m.

Live interview about the historical music collection of the ULB

In the program “Musikszene Hessen” of hr2 on Saturday, 01 August from 5 to 6 p.m. Prof. Ursula Kramer (Chairman of Christoph Graupner Society) and Dr. Silvia Uhlemann (Head of Historical Collections and the music department) will give a live interview to the historical music collection of the ULB, Christoph Graupner and the Graupner research as well as the function of the music department as a music library for the citizens of Darmstadt and the region.

Audio guide for ULB Stadtmitte

The audio guide takes you to 16 stations by ULB Stadtmitte. The stations are marked on the basis of yellow signs with QR code. The tour starts in front of the lecture hall UG1. Find audio files already preloading on a mobile device or select the individual stations via the QR codes. Loan of players is also possible. The tour will be held in German. more>>

The mobile version of TUfind, the ULB search portal, is now available under m.ulb.tu-darmstadt.de . It offers a search interface which is optimized for mobile devices and, as a brandnew grafic element, a thematic wheel which allows an easy and intuitive choice of subjects and library locations.
