Panel Discussion on 21 october at 5:00 p.m.

The Executive Committee invites all members of TU to participate in the Open Access Week at the TU Darmstadt. The panel discussion “Quality, Reputation and Impact” thematized the extent to which Open Access publications are suitable for meeting high scientific standards and at the same time enhancing one's own reputation.

ULB Lichtwiese will already close at 5 pm on 17 October

Because of an internal university event on Thursday, 17 October in the foyer of the “Hörsaal- und Medienzentrum” the library ULB Lichtwiese will already close at 5 pm.

OpenIng at the OA Days in Hanover

The project “Open Access and Open Educational Resources in the Engineering Sciences” (OpenIng) was presented four times at the Open Access Days in Hanover (30.09.-02.10.19).

Freshers welcome

This year’s freshers welcome will take place on 14 October at 6:00 pm at the Hörsaal- und Medienzentrum (L4|02, Franziska-Braun-Straße 10). The ULB, other central facilities and student groups will present their numerous activities and services on campus Lichtwiese.

International Open-Access-Week 2019

Die BGG (Bibliothek Gesellschafts- und Geschichtswissenschaften) in der Landwehrstraße hatte am 30.08.19 das letzte Mal geöffnet. Bis zum Bezug des dritten ULB-Standortes „Schloss“ verbleiben die Bestände in der ULB Stadtmitte.

Reduced opening hours at ULB Stadtmitte from 1 September

Each term the ULB Stadtmitte changes its opening hours according to the exam periods. From 1 September to 31 December the library opens daily from 8 am to 1 am.
