Reorganisation of enquiry concept at ULB Stadtmitte

Starting from August 1st the new “Central Information” will be situated on the ground floor near the loan desk. At August 2nd our new “Research Reading Room” for the provision of our historic collections and old stocks will open on the 2nd floor.

Aufgrund der Neuorganisation unseres Auskunftskonzeptes bleiben am 1. August die Zentrale Information im 1. Obergeschoss und der Sonderlesesaal im 2. Obergeschoss geschlossen. Ab 2. August können Sie Ihre Medien wieder wie gewohnt nutzen und erhalten diese dann im Erdgeschoss an der „neuen“ Zentralen Information oder im „Forschungslesesaal“ im 2. Obergeschoss.

Georeferencing of historical maps – second round concluded

The second phase of our georefencing project took less than four weeks to be concluded although this time the maps were significantly more difficult to assign due to a greater number of maps in handdrawing or cyrillic script.

Writing consulting for students at ULB Lichtwiese

Since April 2016 students can attend the open consulting hours of the TUD writing centre at ULB Lichtwiese, room 104 on the first floor. The opening hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (during the semester).
