TU Darmstadt’s full-text repository TUprints is being migrated to a new software. The outdated eprints system is being replaced by DSpace software, which is also in use at other universities.

During the one-week migration phase from 27 October to 2 November 2025, it will not be possible to log in, deposit or publish new documents. The TUprints repository may still be used for research.

Please note:

• Personalised logins will no longer work after the migration. You can log in to the new system with your TU-ID. If you do not have a TU-ID (anymore), please contact tuprints@ulb.tu-… to request a new account (setup after 3 November 2025).
• Please save documents from your personal workspace that cannot be published before 17 October 2025 locally and deposit them again on TUprints after 3 November 2025. In this case, new persistent identifiers (DOI, URN, handle) will be assigned.
• TUbiblio: The university bibliography will remain on eprints for the time being, but will also be migrated to DSpace. Until this happens, there will be no changes when generating publication lists from TUbiblio. Furthermore, every publication on TUprints will also be listed in the university bibliography and catalogued.
