Each year on 9 May the European Union (EU) celebrates its Europe Day. From 30 April up to 9 May 2022 various institutions in Germany organize (digital) events and activities relating to European politics and culture.

The ULB including all locations and departments will be closed on Sunday, 1 May 2022 (Labour day, public holiday).

From April 25, the ULB Lichtwiese can be reached by tram line 2. In connection with today's start of operations, you can visit the exhibition “Trams in Darmstadt”.

On 28 April 2022 from 2pm to 3pm, the Open Access Talk “Finale für Titelträger*innen: Kumulative Dissertationen Open Access veröffentlichen” will take place online.

From Friday, 01. April 22 you can book again the group work rooms of the locations Stadtmitte and Lichtwiese for 4 hours each.

In December 2021, ULB Darmstadt became a member of the non-profit organisation USENIX. It organises conferences, publishes research results and supports communities in the field of computer science and information technology.
