In the 17th century Antoine de la Baume Pluvinel’s masterly illustrated book on horseriding set new standards about the nonviolent and collaborative partnership of man and horse. Thanks to the financial support of the Rotary Club Darmstadt-Bergstraße the ULB was able to restore the rare first edition of 1626 and make it available again for use and research.

TU Darmstadt is participating in the Germany-wide DEAL-contract, which was concluded with the scientific publisher Springer Nature. This agreement will allow you to access Springer Nature’s online journals and to benefit from new expanded possibilities to publish your research results as Open Access.

After the serious restrictions during the Corona crisis in the past weeks, from this week onwards books can be ordered again by interlibary loan.

Access is permitted only with your mouth protection and a library card / Athene card and for using the library services. Learning and working in the library is still not allowed.
