Historical and Special Collections

The tasks of the Historical and Special Collections team involve the use and indexing of these collections at ULB. This includes running and organising the research reading room with on-site use, processing enquiries, accepting repro orders and giving advice on the Historical and Special Collections of ULB.

For example, we offer advice on researching in older reference instruments and catalogue handwritten and printed works in accordance with special regulations. The aim is to record as many levels of information as possible for a historical original source on the individual copy and to network them regionally, nationally and internationally both in the library catalogue (TUfind) and in specific databases.
