Closed Stacks Management

Be it borrowing from the deep stacks, special requests concerning the historically valuable book collection or interlibrary loans from other libraries, the Stacks team ensures that media find their way to the users properly and safely.

Furthermore, the team constantly ensures that the stacks are organised, and reliably deposits the holdings back to their customary places after use and loan.

If any holdings need to be repackaged, the Stacks team will support the Restoration and specialist teams. It also keeps a watchful eye on any holdings that are in need of repair and reports them to the Binding Centre and Restoration.
