Research and Development

The Research and Development team creates and operates many of ULB's digital services: TUprints, TUbiblio, TUdatalib, TUdigit and more, and conducts research in projects funded by third parties on future library offerings.

There are also activities in the field of data-driven research: text and data mining, user understanding and recommender systems. Plus there is a project in the field of Business Intelligence that provides intelligent decision-making tools for acquisition by means of statistical methods based on lending figures.
