Supporting the high-tech location Hesse with UP training and research for university members and founders at the TU

The project "European Regional Development Fund", or ERDF for short, is an investment by the European Union to "support the high-tech location of Hesse through intellectual property training and research for university members and founders at TU Darmstadt"

Brief description

The project is intended primarily to exploit the great innovation potential at Technical University Darmstadt more specifically and more efficiently, and to contribute to increasing the innovative capacity of TU Darmstadt. It also supports the development of a start-up culture and helps the start-ups with implementing their ideas. Specific measures include:

  • Development of support services in the field of Intellectual Property (IP) at Technical University Darmstadt – sensitisation and advice for students and scientists at Technical University Darmstadt.
  • Qualification and consulting of founders at Technical University Darmstadt.
  • Establishment of an information portal for scientists and founders at Technical University Darmstadt for the proactive and effective handling of intellectual property rights.
  • Offer of a wandering IP consultation at Founders' Days or at partner institutions in the region under the claim “Patents, trademarks, designs on tour – strategic action for effective innovation protection”.
