DMP4NFDI
NFDI Basic Service for Data Management Plans - DMP tool hosting, template standardization, support and training for NFDI consortia

Brief description

Data management plans (DMPs) are a basic tool for research data management. They support researchers in planning their data management and document how they generate reusable data in order to meet the requirements of funding agencies.

The ULB has been offering the service TUdmo for several years, which is based on the open source software RDMO, and already used by hundreds of researchers to create a DMP. Being part of the project DMP4NFDI the ULB supports other consortia within the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) with hosting and customization of RDMO. DMP4NFDI is a basic service within the NFDI cross cutting consortium Base4NFDI.

The multi-client RDMO developed for the Hessian Research Data Infrastructures (HeFDI) and used for years by universities, universities of applied sciences and other research institutions in Hesse and from partner institutions within NFDI4ING, serves as a model for this new service.

The project is led by ULB Darmstadt and realized in cooperation with UB Aachen and ZB MED.
