Humankind has been influencing its environment for a very long time. Its power to shape the environment has grown over time. Today, there is debate as to whether humankind is even exerting a geologically significant force, and whether these environmental changes will have destructive consequences for the future of humankind.

Exhibition areas ULB Stadtmitte

The exhibition areas in the basement (UG) and ground floor (EG) of the ULB offer various presentation options. The basement is intended for exhibitions with special requirements in terms of climatic conditions and security. Flexible concepts beyond classic exhibits can be found on the ground floor. Exhibitions of Historical Archive of TU Darmstadt

The exhibitions of the Historical Archive of TU Darmstadt show the diversity of life at, with and in the Technical University – the student movement in the 1950s, well-known TU professors such as Meißner, Pützer, Wickop or Weyprecht, partnerships with foreign universities or stories about the August Euler Airfield.
