The new English-language open access journal “ing.grid” is now open for submissions. The main topic of the journal is research data management in engineering according to the FAIR principles. Core topics are data literacy, data infrastructure, data governance, data economics, data ethics, data sets, and data management software.

ing.grid welcomes contributions from all engineering disciplines, as the journal aims to create connections and shared practices among all engineering subdisciplines. ing.grid promotes the active interdisciplinary exchange of experience within the engineering sciences and beyond.

Submissions will be reviewed in an open peer review process: New contributions are first published on the ing.grid preprint server and undergo peer review by designated experts. In addition, anyone can read and post comments on the preprint server to provide a space for open discussion. Accepted papers will be published in the ing.grid Journal.

Instructions for submission can be found on the homepage as well as in the guidelines. In addition, ing.grid has a YouTube channel with detailed videos on the review process.

The ULB service TUjournals supports the publication of such OA journals and series if at least one of the editors is a member of TU Darmstadt. Information on TUjournals and an overview of the titles published so far can be found on the website Journal Hosting .
