Open access fees for 2019 reported to OpenAPC

In order to make fees for Open Access journal articles (the so-called article processing charges APC) comparable and to create a data basis for OA transformation, OpenAPC collects and publishes the publication fees paid by universities and research institutions.

In 2019, the OA funds of TU Darmstadt supported 72 publications with a total of about 110,000 €. This means that the number of sponsored journal articles doubled compared to 2017.

Costs from the DEAL-Wiley transformation contract could not yet be considered for 2019, but will be reported as soon as the fees for articles in Wiley hybrid journals have been calculated.
