Project conclusion “Gruß & Kuss”

To mark the successful conclusion of the three-year citizen science project Gruß & Kuss, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, those responsible for the project invite all interested parties to the final conference on 7 and 8 March at the University of Koblenz.
Love letters have always connected and fascinated people. The love letter archive, based in Koblenz and Darmstadt, is the only archive of its kind. As part of the Citizen Science research project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Gruß & Kuss – Briefe digital. Citizens receive love letters, the archive went public. In close cooperation between academic and citizen science, a selection of over 43,000 authentic private love letters have been researched and digitised since April 2021.
The institutions involved in the project – Darmstadt University of Technology, University of Koblenz, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and Darmstadt University and State Library – cordially invite all interested parties to the final conference.
There are no conference or participation fees. Catering will be provided.
