Open Library Badge – ULB receives award for openness concept

The Open Library Badge initiative honours libraries that pursue the concept of openness. The Badge is awarded by a jury and is intended to make visible corresponding library activities and offers for more openness in science and society.

The ULB Darmstadt has long promoted open concepts and is actively involved in the further development of freely available and reusable services. With numerous activities, the ULB supports and promotes open access publishing , carries out crowd sourcing projects and publishes learning materials on Open Learnware.
