Shakespeare commemoration day and exhibition 2016

This year a variety of festivities worldwide commemorate the 400. anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, the great English dramatist.
The Universitäts- und Landesbibliothek Darmstadt, where his death mask is kept, dedicated on March 9th 2016 a Day of lectures and an exhibition to William Shakespeare.
The accompanying exhibition “Shakespeare in his time” will present his death mask and various records and documents attributed to his family.
