TUdatalib is the institutional research data repository of TU Darmstadt, and is available to all TU working groups for archiving and publishing research data.

At the beginning of June, TUdatalib was updated to a new software version. This update represents a complete overhaul of the system with significant changes in its use.

The following changes are particularly noteworthy.

• completely redesigned graphical user interface with a modern design. This also means that many aspects of the system will now be accessed differently.
• completely overhauled programming interface. Software that uses the old programming interface (REST API) will not be able to interact with the new system and will need to be converted to the new programming interface.

The documentation, which has also been revised, provides an overview of the changes and features that are not yet implemented. We will add these missing features as soon as possible.
