NFDI Talk on 19 May: OER.NET
2025/05/08
OER.NET: A Hub for RDM-OER for the Humanities and Social Sciences. Perspectives on Metadata NDFI Talk on 2025-05-19 at 4pm with the participation of Petra Steiner, ULB Darmstadt
Speakers: Katharina Bergmann, Jonathan D. Geiger, Marina Lemaire, Andrea Polywka, Petra Steiner
About the talk:
Since 2024, NFDI consortia along with data competence centers and projects from the humanities and social sciences have been meeting regularly to discuss synergies in developing and describing Open Educational Resources (OER). This networking group aims to foster closer collaboration, as the subject area of teaching and learning materials in the context of data literacy and research data management is very heterogeneous, requiring the integration of diverse community needs. Speakers from NFDI4Culture, NFDI4Memory, HERMES and DALIA will provide insights into the activities, goals and perspectives of the OER.Net group. A focus will showcase how the DALIA OER metadata schema exemplifies the group's collaborative approach to interoperable OER descriptions in the humanities and social sciences.
