Hands-on workshops for beginners and experienced developers

The HeFDI Code School returns this summer semester with a new series of hands-on workshops, designed to help researchers improve their skills in writing sustainable scientific software.

We are offering two tracks:

  • The Basic Track for beginners starts in May,
  • An Advanced Track for experienced developers, starting in July

Basic Track (May 9 – 23)

In collaboration with NFDI4Earth, this track includes three online workshops offering a hands-on introduction to Python programming and data visualization. Each workshop combines brief lectures with hands-on coding exercises, covering:

  • Introduction to Python and Jupyter Notebooks
  • Data Manipulation with Pandas and basic plotting
  • Interactive Visualizations and Web Development with Streamlit

Participants can choose to attend individual sessions or the entire series.
