The increasing availability of digital and scientific literature brings out the possibility for researchers to use suitable text and data mining algorithms to gain completely new insights which would not be accessible by reading individual documents. The researchers are faced with technical and legal challenges before the actual analysis.

As part of the project Digital Media Workflow funded by the German Research Foundation, ULB Darmstadt is developing a reusable workflow that enables libraries to provide scientific literature in a uniformly structured XML format via freely accessible interfaces.

We would like to invite you to a workshop during which the current state of the project will be presented. The Workshop will take place virtually via Zoom on 2024-11-13 between 9am and 12.30pm.
