Memberships to promote Open Access

Since December 2021, the ULB Darmstadt is a new supporting member of DOAB/OAPEN, OpenCitations and Open Book Publishers. Through these and other memberships, the ULB supports the development of Open Access.
The Directory of Open Access Books lists OA monographs worldwide and provides members with metadata in various formats, COUNTER statistics and usage reports.
The OAPEN Library is a platform for OA monographs (with peer review) from numerous publishing houses.
OpenCitations is an open collection of bibliographic and citation data.
OBP publishes scholarly OA monographs. Thanks to the membership, the publications are available to the library and its users free of charge in all digital formats. A discount is granted on print editions of the works.
All of the initiatives mentioned are non-profit organisations that are financed through supporting memberships and donations.
