Open-Access fees for 2018 for OpenAPC reported

TU Darmstadt is taking part in the initiative OpenAPC and has reported its expenses for Open-Access for the years 2017 and 2018.
To make publication fees (for articles it is the so called Article Processing Charge APC) comparable and to ensure a data basis for the OA-transformation, OpenAPC has published all OA-publication costs that are payed by universities and research facilities to publishers in Germany.
In 2018 41 publications were sponsored with TU Darmstadt’s OA-funds at 11 publishers with approx. overall 46.000 €.
