Cooperation of „Darmstadt WiFi“ and „eduroam“

The open “Darmstadt WiFi” of the Digital City of Darmstadt and the “eduroam”-net at the TU Darmstadt are profiting from each other.
From now on, smartphone and tablet users can log into the “Darmstadt WiFi” (supported by the city council of Darmstadt, the energy supplier ENTEGA and the transportation company HEAG mobile) at all hotspots of the TU Darmstadt without limits, so for instance at ULB Stadtmitte or on campus Lichtwiese. Furthermore, students and researchers of the TU Darmstadt can stay logged in to the TU WLAN when entering hotspots of “WiFi Darmstadt” in the inner city.
