Local EU information services
The network currently consists of nine Hessian institutions. The network members serve different target groups but deal with the same subject: EUROPE. They aim to present as a one-stop-shop the various consultancy services and fields of competency of the EU helpdesks in Hessen and to provide an overview of the whole range of services: from information and consultancy on the miscellaneous funding measures of the European Union, current developments on the European domestic market to EU legislation and public procurement.
An EU network of information centres, documentation centres and speakers in every EU country. There are two types of help: in-depth information – contact or visit a documentation centre (EDC), general information – contact an information centre (EDIC). You can also contact EU expert speakers (Team Europe) who can lead presentations, workshops or debates by invitation (schools, NGOs, businesses, etc.).
You can contact the Central information service to get help and advice in your language, e.g. an immediate answer to general questions related to the EU or directions to the best sources of information/advice and contact details (at EU, national or local level). This service is reachable by phone or internet.
