    Niebergall exhibition within the framework of the Datterich Festival

    We invite you to Niebergall exhibition from June, 5th to June, 28th 2015, which is organized in the ULB Stadtmitte within the framework of the Datterich Festival. The exhibition opening will take place on June, 5th at 6 p.m. in the Liebig-Haus.

    Exhibition and Lectures about Heinrich Schirmbeck

    To mark the jubilee of his 100th birthday the Heinrich-Schirmbeck-Gesellschaft e.V., the Heinrich-Schirmbeck-Stiftung, the BUND and further NGOs are going to set up numerous events, readings and lectures at the ULB this year. An exhibition is to be seen at the ULB from 1 July to 30 September.

    In association with the exhibition three lectures will take place in the lecture room of the ULB, admission free.

    “The Golden Bull of Emperor Charles IV 1356–2016”

    Die Goldene Bulle Kaiser Karls IV. von 1356

    On the occasion of the 660 th anniversary of the Golden Bull, the most important constitutional document of the Holy Roman Empire, and the 700th birthday of Emperor Charles IV, the ULB dedicates an exhibition to the copy assigned to the Archbishop of Cologne held by the library.

    Exhibition of archive records of Architect Otto Bartning

    In cooperation with the Academy of Arts in Berlin and the Communal Gallery of Arts in Karlsruhe the TU Darmstadt conceived a large retrospective of the Architect Otto Bartning (1883 – 1959).

    The exhibition documents for the first time the live, work and literary influence of Emmanuel Bove. It shows a selection of documents which have never been exhibited before, among them two newly discovered, unknown short stories.

    The Enquiring Mind of Hessian Landgraves

    At 17 July, the exhibition “Secret – Rule – Knowledge: The Enquiring Mind of Hessian Landgraves” will be opened at 7 p.m. in the lecture room of ULB Stadtmitte, Magdalenenstr. 8. Three opening lectures by leading scholars in the field and a guided tour by the curator will await the visitors.
